Media representatives who wish to cover SCA/HPCAsia 2026 are requested to review the following media policy carefully before applying.
1. Media Registration and Coverage Guidelines

Media representatives (please refer to Section 2 for the definition of media) must complete media registration in advance via the designated media registration form (please refer to Section 3). The registration deadline is January 22, 2026, at 17:00 (JST). All submitted information will be reviewed by the Publicity & Media Chairs of SCA/HPCAsia 2026. Please note that, as a result of this review, the issuance of a media pass may be declined. In addition, applicants may be requested to submit additional identification or supporting documents if necessary.

Media passes are free of charge and valid for one day only. Media representatives covering the conference on multiple days are required to check in at the venue each day to receive a daily media pass. Media passes must be returned upon leaving the venue.
Note: Sharing or transferring media passes is strictly prohibited.

Filming or recording is not permitted during keynote speeches and technical sessions, including invited sessions, research sessions, workshops, tutorials, and birds of a feather. Coverage activities and methods may be restricted at the discretion of the organizers.

2. Definition of Media
Media registration and media pass requests for SCA/HPCAsia 2026 are reserved for writers, editors, and active contributors to, or employees of, the following media organizations:
- Writers, editors, and active contributors to, or employees of, newspapers, news agencies, publishing organizations, broadcast media, or online media outlets
- Freelance journalists who regularly contribute to newspapers, news agencies, publishing organizations, broadcast media, or online media outlets
- Industry analysts who report on or analyze trends in HPC, AI, and quantum computing (QC)
Please note that public relations, marketing, or sales professionals do not qualify for media registration. In addition, videographers working for sponsors or exhibitors, book authors, consultants, and similar professionals generally do not meet the requirements.
However, organizations engaged in educational outreach or the production of educational content may be considered on an exceptional basis, subject to prior request and approval by the organizers.
Approval of media registration in previous SCA or HPCAsia conferences does not guarantee approval for SCA/HPCAsia 2026.
3. Media Registration Form
After reviewing the above information, please complete your registration via the media registration form below by the registration deadline. The Publicity & Media Chairs of the SCA/HPCAsia 2026 Organizing Committee will review the submitted information and will notify you of the approval status of your media pass.
